SECOND EDIT: I would like to bring some clarity for those who are wondering if they still qualify for the space drop.
(COME ON PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET, STOP SUCKING SO MUCH!) SDF and Keybase will discuss, while whining and moaning, how this giveaway can continue. In cooperation with both of those sites, we've halted Space Drop registration for anyone who wasn't a Keybase user before Sept.
UPDATE #2 September 16: HackerNews and GitHub were both under attack by bad actors who hoped to game this by stealing other users' accounts. ĮDIT: Within five hours of posting this update, Keybase has made a second update the Big Stellar Space Drop registration is now no longer accepting Github accounts as a qualification. Here’s an article-a follow-up to the space drop- but still a great resource that gives you an idea of what you can do with Keybase. Įven if you’re not eligible to participate, it’s still a good opportunity to get involved and see Keybase and Stellar in action. We are no longer qualifying new users based on old HN accounts. UPDATE September 16: HackerNews was under a pretty heavy attack by people who wanted to brute-force steal accounts and gain karma through crappy comments. If you are new to Keybase and would like to participate in the space drop, you can only do so if you have a GitHub account that was registered before the 9th of September. As of September 16th, Keybase is no longer qualifying new users-for The Big Stellar Space Drop-based on old HackerNews accounts.
